Covenant Community Care offers primary medical, dental and behavioral health care to the residents of Metro Detroit. We believe that everyone deserves access to integrated, affordable and quality health care, and are dedicated to meeting the primary health care needs of your family.
Primary Medical Care
Covenant Community Care offers affordable, quality primary health care for the whole family. Most patients without health insurance pay between $20 and $50 per visit, depending on family size and income. The cost of the visit covers:
- Visit with Primary Care Physician (PCP)
- Blood draw and lab work
- Required Adult Replacement Vaccines that you qualify for
- Diabetes and other health care issue education.
We never want price to be a barrier to receiving necessary medical attention. If you feel that you are unable to pay the cost of a visit, please call your preferred clinic to schedule an appointment with a Benefits Counselor to discuss your situation.
Pediatric Medical Care
Covenant Community Care offers pediatric care at all of our medical clinic locations. We believe that ALL children deserve good health, and we are committed to providing a safe and nurturing medical home for your child. We know you don’t want to wait for an appointment when your child is sick, so in addition to scheduled well visit appointments, same-day sick visit and walk-in appointment slots have been reserved for our pediatric clients.
We accept all Medicaid and MiChild plans. If your child is not insured our Benefits Counselors are always available to screen him or her for Medicaid eligibility.
We look forward to seeing you and your child!

Beginning proper oral hygiene at an early age is an important part of having a healthy mouth for a lifetime. Our dental providers and staff understand the challenges of pediatric dental care and are experts at making your child at ease while they clean, examine, treat with fluoride, seal and x-ray their teeth, all while educating them on how to keep their mouth healthy.
The Covenant Community Family Dental Center also offers the Covenant Braces Program, an affordable braces program for qualifying children. Spots are limited – your dentist will refer your child to this program if they are in need and there is an opening.
Please call 313-554-3880 for more information or to schedule an appointment.
We love children and hope you will make Covenant Community Dental Center your family dentist!

Behavorial Health Services
At Covenant Community Care we have Behavioral Health Clinicians (BHCs) who work alongside our medical providers to help patients address many different concerns and struggles with everyday life. Our BHCs can help you to address struggles with depression, anxiety, and stress reduction. We can also help you address issues related to managing your medical conditions, such as diabetes, high blood pressure, smoking cessation and weight loss.
BHCs have unique training that allows them to work alongside our medical providers and can often provide brief and direct consultation to you as part of your medical visit. Brief and focused individual and group counseling is also available for patients who need additional care.
Our BHCs are available to existing Covenant Community Care patients at our Michigan Avenue, Royal Oak and Waterman clinics.
Beyond the Walls Services
Homeless Outreach Team
The Homeless Outreach Team serves daily on the streets of Detroit, and provides care to people where they are at (under highway overpasses, in broken down trailers, in abandoned buildings, and in hidden urban encampments), works with them to navigate the present day healthcare system, and dispels the obstacles of anxiety, fear and mistrust.
MI Care Health Home Team
The Michigan Care health Home Team provides specialized care and support to patients dealing with multiple chronic health conditions through an innovative care team that includes Community Health Workers providing in-home care.
We are breaking down barriers and getting Beyond the Walls of our clinics by bringing health care to the community instead of waiting for the community to come to us.
