Grief and Worship Conference Women’s Conference II

what is a G and W conference.jpg

At the first Grief and Worship Conference at the Radisson Livonia (December 2009) the focus was on coming close to Jesus, like the woman who broke into a Pharisee's dinner party and gave herself to Jesus because she loved him…because he had invited her into his rest. She came close to him, and the result was grief and worship flowing freely. This second Grief and Worship Conference is about the day after. And the day after that. What happens to us after coming close to Jesus that first time? How does the relationship grow? And how does our experience of grief and worship change? This conference will be held in the worship space next to the Thistle Coffee House near Wayne State University. And dinner and overnight accommodations will be at the Hostel Detroit in Corktown. I am excited about what God will do and whom He will bring together and how He will care for us and use us to care for one another. I am excited that we will be meeting in Detroit, a city rife with grief and ripe for worship. The conference is FREE and, for those staying overnight, the price is only $25! We hope you can come!
